The 2025 Single Financial Account

The single financial statement is the new format for local accounts for elected representatives. It replaces the administrative account. It records all revenue and expenditure incurred during the year. Unlike a budget, which must be balanced, the single financial statement, which records actual transactions, highlights discrepancies between expenditure and revenue in each section.



Operation Section
In terms of operations, 2025 saw a -.–% increase in revenue.
Expenditure, thanks to effective control of energy costs (the impact of switching off street lighting at night and control of staff costs), rose by only -.–%. The result, €—,—. remains at an excellent level and will enable us to continue investing without resorting to borrowing.

Investment Section
Debt Status
During 2025, the local authority continued to reduce its debt.
The outstanding debt (outstanding loan principal) on the main budget stood at €–,– as at 31 December 2023, or €– per inhabitant, compared with €— for municipalities in the same category (500 to 2,000 inhabitants).
The 2026 Draft Budget
The draft budget was unanimously adopted at the Town Council meeting on DD/MM/YY.
It amounts to €2,698,302 for operating expenditure and €2,744,167 for capital expenditure.
The Municipal Council unanimously decided to maintain the 2023 tax rates, namely: 33.91% for the property tax rate on built properties, 43.00% on undeveloped land, and 9.96% for the housing tax on second homes.

Grants
Grants approved in 2026
At the Town Council meeting on 15 April 2025, the Mayor presented to the assembly the proposed grants to associations, as determined by the Finance Committee at its meeting on 10 April 2025.
The Municipal Council, unanimously:
– APPROVED the mandatory documents that associations must provide, no later than 15 May 2025, prior to any grant being paid (Cerfa 12156*06, signed Republican Commitment Contract, annual balance sheet, bank details)
– DECIDED to award grants to the associations for the year 2025.
