CCAS

Municipal Social Action Centre

In accordance with Title 4 of the Charter establishing the municipality of Val-d’Oire-et-Gartempe, and in compliance with regulations, a Municipal Social Action Centre (CCAS) was established in 2019. Composed of elected officials and residents, and assisted in its decision-making by a social worker, its primary role is to help the most vulnerable members of the community.

It serves as a tool for implementing community support and organizing social assistance for the benefit of the municipality’s residents. Therefore, the CCAS’s main role is to combat social exclusion, support the elderly, and assist people with disabilities.
