The « CCHLeM »
A French inter-municipal body, the Communauté de Communes du Haut Limousin en Marche is located in the Haute-Vienne department, in the New Aquitaine region.
It was formed on 1 January 2017 through the merger of three inter-municipal bodies:
- the Basse Marche Community of Communes,
- the Brame-Benaize Community of Communes,
- the Haut Limousin Community of Communes.
Areas of Responsibilities
The Communauté de Communes du Haut Limousin en Marche is responsible for the following services :
- early childhood
- youth
- school life
- culture
- public health
- housing
- recycling centres
- economic development
- town planning
- sewage and drainage
